1Ti 2:5 ...there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus

A wooden bridge is an illustration of the Lord Jesus Christ as mediator. It is actually a life laid down. It came from a living tree that was chopped down and died. Laid down so that others can cross from this side to that, from point sinner to point God.

There is only one bridge between God and Man. If Christ did not lay down His life for sinners, we sinners could not cross from this side to God's side.

Have you, by God's grace, used the bridge by relying on it for your salvation?
