"In Christ"

This is one of the most important terms in the New Testament. Christ is like a storehouse of God's blessings. All God's spiritual blessings are placed in this Storehouse. The key therefore for any sinner is to be IN CHRIST. In Christ, he is blessed. Out of Christ, he is cursed.

Here are some samples:

Ro 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are IN CHRIST JESUS

Eph 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places IN CHRIST

And essentially important of all, redemption and forgiveness of sins are found IN CHRIST:

Eph 1:7 *IN HIM* we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins...

Salvation is not found in you (what you do and who you are). It is found IN CHRIST! The moment a sinner trusts in Christ, he is united by the Holy Spirit to Christ and therefore he partakes of God's blessings.

Christ died for all. But not all partake of God's blessings. Because only those who believe or trust in Christ will be IN CHRIST.
