GOSPEL NUGGET #219

GOSPEL NUGGETS

True Story

A man who had spent some years in prison was brought to hear the preaching of the Gospel after he was set free. At the close of the service, Christians sang a famous hymn by William Cowper.

As the lines were sung: "The dying thief rejoiced to see, That fountain in his day; And there may I though vile as he, Wash all my sins away," he was brought to conviction and said to himself: "That admits me, a sinner."

He trusted in the work of Christ on the cross and he was marvelously saved.
