Ro 5:11 And not only that, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation.

"Reconciliation" in this verse means a change of relationship or position. From being at enmity with God to being a friend of God, having peace with Him.

Many people think that they can reconcile themselves to God by their efforts, sacrifices, religiosity and even prayers. But reconciliation with God is not found in what we do; it is found in a person---Jesus Christ. His death on the cross took away all our sins and hushed the justice and the wrath of God.

Be reconciled to God by trusting in the Lord Jesus and what He did on the cross.
