* Job 40:4 "Behold, I am vile...

It is the sinner's realization as to who he is in the eyes of God apart from His grace. This describes the sinner's ruin.

* Joh 1:29 "Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!

It is the sinner's realization that it is only through Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God, His death on the cross can he find forgiveness of sin. This sets forth the remedy.

* 2Co 6:2 ...Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.

It is the sinner's realization that salvation can be possessed now. This speaks of the urgency of its reception. Salvation should be received now (notice twice in the verse the word "now" is repeated for emphasis).

And receiving it is by faith.
