GOSPEL NUGGET # 36

Joh 3:16 "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

Christ is like a bridge that God erected between the world and Himself. Just as a bridge is laid down for all, so the love of God sent Christ to lay down His life for all. God is going to judge the world and anyone in it will perish. But anyone who crosses the bridge will be saved.

The bridge was meant for all in the world. But only those who actually cross the bridge will be saved.
