Isa 22:23 I will fasten him as a peg in a secure place...

A peg or a nail was a common fixture in Jewish houses. They did not have storage closets to store their valuables. Instead, they fastened nails all around the room, and there, they hanged all their valuables. They were firmly fixed on the stable walls of the house and so the valuables were safe and secure. 

In the same way, applying the verse to the Lord Jesus, God has appointed the Lord Jesus Christ as a strong, solid, stable, steady and steadfast Savior. He is dependable and reliable. There's no risk.

You can entirely hang your soul's salvation on Him and be safe and secure.
