"...Peace be with you."When He had said this, He showed them His hands and His side." Joh 20:19-20
Man as a sinner is at enmity with God. He needs to have peace with God and the peace of God. But this peace has its foundation and basis on what the Lord Jesus Christ did on the cross. You see, right after He said: "Peace be with you" He then showed them His nail marks.
Col 1: 20: "... having made peace through the blood of His cross."
You see, it's only through the death of the Lord Jesus Christ on the cross of Calvary that an enemy of God can become at peace with Him. Come therefore and take refuge, by faith in Him, yes in the Peace Maker and what He did for you on the cross so that you might enjoy peace and reconciliation with God.
