Trampling The Son Of God Underfoot
Heb 10:29 Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing, and insulted the Spirit of grace?
Many trust in themselves that they are not that bad a sinner as others. That they have not committed heinous crimes makes them think that they are on the higher rung on the spiritual ladder above the worst of criminals.
The fact of the matter is this: Yes, they might not have killed anyone, they might not have robbed banks, they may not have committed rape and other atrocities but if they have rejected the Lord Jesus Christ, then they have committed something far worse---they have trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant a common thing and insulted the Spirit of grace.
My friend, if you have rejected Christ and His offer of salvation, realize the enormity of your sin. Repent and turn to Him now in faith, trusting in Him and what He did on the cross for your salvation.
