In Exodus 27 verses 9 to 21, we read of the perimeter fence of the Tabernacle and its gate. The whole thing is a picture that points to Christ.
The walls surrounding the tabernacle speak of the holiness of God. It separates and shuts out sinners from entering the tabernacle. God is a holy God and His holiness shuts sinners away from Him.
The gate of the tabernacle is the only way people could get in. The gate is a picture of Christ. Anyone who enters the gate will find himself surrounded with walls made of fine linen. Fine linen in the Bible is a picture of righteousness.
As one enters the gate, which represents Christ, he finds himself in a new position and a righteous standing. In Christ, a sinner is justified. In Christ (not in himself), a sinner is wrapped, so to speak, in divine righteousness.
Come to Christ. Enter into Him by faith!
